A long weekend awaits thanks to Victoria Day, and I'll make some time to tackle my homelab to-do list, dive into Python programming, and continue exploring ChatGPT and its possible uses. That, and also a little sightseeing if the weather allows it... Thanks, Canada, and the disappointment/betrayal season aka Spring.
First on the agenda: homelab to-do's.
- Linux updates (I should probably consider deploying a manager for all these hosts)
- Pop! OS: 2 hosts
- Zorin: 1 host
- Ubuntu: 3 hosts
- Debian: 1 host
- OpenWRT: 2 hosts
- Docker
- Check containers
- Allocate some time to continue playing with Portainer
- Test calibre-web container to replace the calibre server
- Clean up some old projects
- Zabbix (should I replace it with Prometheus + Grafana?)
- If so, should I decommission my Proxmox host and replace it with another node on the Docker swarm?
- Check the sandstorm.io local VM. Keep or decommission?
- In the VM side. The old dashy VM... although that also hosts the Kanban server.
- Migrate the Kanban server as sandstorm grain and be done with the VM
- Homelab
Python programming and the "damn-I-wish-I-had-this-in-college" ChatGPT. Having an AI assistant to help with code development is gold. It's like having a knowledgeable and patient tutor by your side, explaining those intricate lines of code that used to get you stuck for hours, if not days.
And of course... updating this blog — which is always a challenge of time, energy, and discipline. Finding those elusive resources can be a real test. Deep down, I know it's worth the effort, and it helps practice my English writing.

- PS.: I need to practice more using Grav's Markdown.
The first draft of this entry looks awful. - PS2.: It was all in the Advanced section. I should have used the correct template and class for the entry.
